We had a brilliant time making this album and feel that it's an authentic mix of our varying musical influences, tastes and backgrounds. We love playing blues covers live but wanted the album to be made up of original songs. The tracks evolved in rehearsal and were developed with ideas from all of us in the band. We were keen for minimal studio effects in the recording to give a live feel to the sound, realised excellently by producer Jim Barr. We hope you enjoy listening to 'Don't Take It' as much as we enjoyed making it!
